Airports Authority of India has recently announced the AAI Recruitment 2023 for Junior Assistant and Senior Assistant Posts. The notification advertises 119 vacancies. The online registration process will begin on 27th December 2023. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications online from 27/12/2023 to 26/01/2024.

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed to the following posts will receive a monthly salary. Salary details are as follows:

  1. Junior Assistant: ₹31,000 – ₹92,000
  2. Senior Assistant: ₹36,000 – ₹1,10,000

Age Limit (as on 20/12/2023): Candidates must meet the following age limit criteria as of 20/12/2023 to be eligible for the posts.

  1. Senior Assistant: 18 to 30 Years
  2. Junior Assistant: 18 to 30 Years

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is applicable for the following categories as per government rules:

  • 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
  • 5 years for SC/ST candidates
  • 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates

Educational Qualification:

  1. Junior Assistant:
    • Candidates must have completed any Graduate Degree/Diploma/12th Pass.
  2. Senior Assistant:
    • Candidates must have completed B.Com/Diploma in relevant subjects.

Selection Process: The selection process will include:

  • Online Exam
  • Interview

Application Fee: Application fees for different categories are mentioned below. The fee must be paid online using any one of the online modes of payment. No other mode of payment will be accepted.

September AI CPI-IW out. DA Expected to Cross 50% from January 2024

The Labour Bureau has published the All-India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) for the month of September 2023. The All-India CPI-IW declined by 1.7 points in September 2023, from 139.2 in August 2023. Based on the indices till August 2023, the expected DA for central government employees from January 2024 was expected to cross 50%. However, even with the CPI-IW declining by 1.7 points in October 2023, still the DA can be 50% from January 2024. However, the chances of it becoming 51% is less. For the calculation of the DA, CPI-IW indices for 12 months, i.e. January 2023 to December 2024 are required. The indices for three more months are required to calculate the exact DA. Based on the indices till September 2023, the expected DA for central government employees from January 2024 is almost certain to cross 50%.
